About me

My early training included 6 years at the LGBTQ Center of Orange County as an MFT trainee/intern, cultural competency trainer and curriculum developer, administrative assistant, and youth group volunteer.

I then transitioned to private practice until taking some time off for early motherhood and several big moves. 

I earned my MA in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, and went on to work as adjunct faculty and thesis advisor in the same program’s research courses. I completed my own thesis in the fields of trauma recovery and ecopsychology/terrapsychology, and am currently adapting it towards publication. 

My training in Feminist Therapy was a mixture of private study and years-long apprenticeship/mentorship, as well as ongoing reading, research, and training. More and more, I understand the realities of power dynamics and our ability to access and act from our truths to be central to our suffering, healing, and liberation. 

Dreamwork is close to my heart and a longtime personal practice. I’m trained in various depth psychological methods and as a level 2 teacher in the school of Active Dreaming under Robert Moss, as well as in the Soul Pages therapeutic art journaling method with Rakefet Hadar’s first international mentor cohort.

With the birth of my second kiddo and as pandemic began, I realized my need to deepen into spiritual practice and find a way to bring that foundation forward into my work - embarking on a two-year priestess training course with the Mt Shasta Goddess Temple. The grounding, expansion, and tools this program gifted me are profound, have greatly clarified and affirmed my practice, and I’m grateful to be able to bring them to my therapeutic work. 

I’m a longtime student of esoteric and divination systems, most fluently tarot and astrology, and am always open to bringing those elements into the work we’re doing together.
